As a student, I was a member of the Kinesiology Club and Nutrition Club, giving me significant insight into how to properly fuel and move the body. I also worked in the Exercise Physiology Lab as a Research Assistant where I focused on the impacts of sleep on food intake.
I am thrilled to be working with clients at Focus Personal Training Studio after previously training clients at various studios around Greensboro. I have experience working with individuals with a wide range of ability and varied goals. I can’t wait to see how we can work together to create a tailored plan, focused on helping you achieve your fitness goals!

With a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, I bring a unique approach to working with my clients, helping them feel empowered and mentally stronger alongside achieving improved physical fitness/health. Like many busy parents, I realized a need to prioritize my fitness in order to be able to keep up with my kids. Out of my personal experiences, I have developed a passion for exploring and helping others discover all types of fitness over the last 15 years.
I enjoy high intensity interval training, strength training, and outdoor movement. After working with clients at various fitness facilities in Greensboro, I am so excited to train, counsel, and guide clients at Focus Personal Training Studio!
I have trained clients as a Personal Trainer for more than 12 years, with experience working at Greensboro Country Club, Alamance Country Club and Downtown Fitness on Elm in Greensboro. In 2019, I opened Ben Austin Personal Training and love working with my clients in-person and virtually.
